The Best Day Ever documentary follows adaptive mountain bikers Greg Durso and Allie Bianchi as they tackle the daily challenges of disability -- and find joy, connection, and belonging in Vermont's mountain biking community.
Set in the Green Mountains of Vermont, this is a story of grit, independence, and what’s possible when community and creativity come together. At its heart is the world’s first fully adaptive trail network -- built to prove that everyone belongs outside.
Visually stunning and emotionally powerful, Best Day Ever challenges perceptions of disability and celebrates community.
We at the Barkeater Trails Alliance (BETA) and Silver Birch Cycles are especially invested in stories like this one. Through adaptive-friendly trails and a variety of accessible bike rental options, respectively, we are actively pursuing ways to expand access to mountain biking in our region.
See this spectacular film, which was also featured in the 2025-2026 Banff Mountain Film Festival, right here in the Adirondacks. Join us at 6:00pm on Friday, September 18th at The Annex of the Arts Center Lake Placid (17 Algonquin Dr, Lake Placid, NY 12946).
Seating in The Annex is limited -- we strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets early.
