2023 Ski To Swim Party

After a two-year pandemic hiatus, BETA is bringing back the 28th Annual "Ski-to-Swim" Party, a family-friendly FUN-raiser going back to the early days of the Jackrabbit Trail. And while the party will look a bit different, our goal is the same: To get people out on skis.

This one is for the kids. This year the indoor portion of the Ski-To-Swim Party at the Crowne Plaza will be reserved for kids and their parents and chaperones. BETA has grown significantly since the last pool party in 2020, which is AWESOME, but we've also OUT-grown the space. We want to honor a firm 50 person limit in the hotel's pool area. Registration will be required and is first come, first served.

Families and friends are encouraged to join a group ski tour on the Jackrabbit Ski Trail and finish at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Lake Placid. Or simply come for the swimming in the afternoon. Thanks to the Lussi family and the Crowne Plaza for making their pool available for this event!

• Youth Ski-to-Swim Tour - 12pm to 3pm - Ski the Jackrabbit from the new Scott's Cobble Community Trails at Craig Wood to the village of Lake Placid. Enjoy a thrilling descent to River Rd and then travel on to the Lake Placid Club. Finish with a short walk through the village to the Crowne Plaza. Leave a car at the LP Club if you don't want to walk to the hotel. All skiers are responsible for their own transportation.
• Youth Pool Party - 3pm to 6pm - Swimming, hot-tubbing, food and hot & cold beverages at the Crowne Plaza Hotel pool atrium for kids and parents/chaperones.
  
  
• BUY YOUTH POOL PARTY TICKETS via the form to the right. Please remember, space is limited so tickets are required. Adult tickets (age 14+) - $25. Kids under 14 are FREE. One ticket per adult. Please list the names of kids under 14 in your group in the space provided so we can get an accurate head count. If you're an adult bringing two kids, you would purchase 1 ticket and then list the names of your attendees when prompted.

Want to participate but don't have kids? Fret not, we have an option for you. There's no pool involved, but hopefully we'll be swimming in powder by then!

• Adult Jackrabbit Ski Tour - 12pm to 4pm - kick-off the 2023 Jackrabbit Rally with a classic "out-and-back" ski tour from the village of Lake Placid to Craig Wood, where we'll check out the new Scott's Cobble Community Trails on the golf course. We'll stop for lunch, drinks and socializing with fellow ski-nuts at Loui’s Place (Bar/Restaurant located at Craig Wood Golf House), before returning to Lake Placid via the Jackrabbit. *Make this a point-to-point ski by staging a car at Craig Wood. All skiers are responsible for their own transportation*. RSVP HERE.
